Orientation on Mental Health Psychosocial Support attended by wardens and other personnel from jail units and regional office. Ms. Thelma Singson-Barrera of DOH and Ms. Hazel A. Magpabtay, RPsy of Philippine Mental Health Association Lipa-Batangas Chapter served as the facilitators of the said orientation.
 
J/SSUPT RONALDO M SENOC, Asst. Regional Director for Administration, gave his message during the opening of the orientation.
 
This activity is under the guidance of the Regional Director of the Jail Bureau, JSSUPT MARIA IRENE A ESQUINAS.

|| SIGNING OF MOA ON THE EPAHP IN THE PROVINCE OF ORIENTAL MINDORO ||
 
JSSUPT MARIA IRENE A ESQUINAS, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau together with JSINSP SANTIAGO B BUMOLYAD JR, Oriental Mindoro Provincial Jail Adminiatrator and JINSP JULIUS M SULABO, Chief, Welfare and Development Division attended the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement on the Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) in the Province of Oriental Mindoro.
 
Also, in attendance were DAR USec. Virginia N. Oroco and Emily O. Padilla, Atty. Marvin V. Bernal, DAR MIMAROPA Regional Director, Engr. Rogelio D. Madarcos, Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer, Oriental Mindoro Jail Wardens and represetatives from the local Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Organizations (ARBOs).
 
The implementation of EPAHP in jails is one of the strategy to attain the government's Sustainable Development Goal by expanding coordination with various community-based organizations that will produce complementary and supplementary food products to reduce poverty incidence and eventually eradicate extreme poverty and hunger.

The said saying was the motivation behind the community outreach program jointly made by BJMP MIMAROPA, headed by J/SSUPT MA IRENE A ESQUINAS, Regional Director, together with the Assistant Regional Director for Administration, J/SSUPT MA ARLENE T GILLERA, Assistant Regional Director for Operations, J/SSUPT RONALDO M SENOC, Regional Chief of Staff, J/SINSP JORGE ALLAN D'MAY Y SORIANO, and the Arise and Shine Community Church.
 
As kick off activity of the 10th BJMP Community Relations Service Month, thru the generosity and donations of Pastor Noel Alberto, Pastor Allan Gurieza, and Bishop Benny Batiao, gift giving activities were succesfully conducted to the Badjao Community residing at Brgy. Malitam, Batangas City.
 
Residents properly lined up to get a total of 250 burgers and juice, 250 slippers, solar lights, 250 packs of rice, 250 toys and face shields from our donors, Arise and Shine Community Church.

Happening Now II May 25, 2021
 
Refresher Training on Single Carpeta attended by personnel from jail units using Single Carpeta and regional office personnel. JO2 Dominador P Montecina and JO1 John Carlo K Sison from BJMP National Headquarters - DICTM served as the resource speakers. The Director of DICTM, JSSUPT REVELINA A SINDOL also attended the refresher training.
 
The Single Carpeta is the unified records management system of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology and the Bureau of Corrections which is a big help in fast and effective delivery of service to people.
