True to its commitment, BJMP MIMAROPA Region, under the leadership of J/SSUPT MARIA IRENE A ESQUINAS, took part in the Brigada Eskwela 2021 to address issues and concerns of the Badjao Community in their ALS Center today, September 14, 2021.
J/SUPT JUN MELCHOR O BOADILLA, Asst. Regional Director for Operations, together with J/SINSP BALTAZAR M BUSTILLOS, Chief, Community Relations Service Section, led personnel of BJMP MIMAROPA in the distribution of schools supplies, facemasks, alcohols, hygienic materials, books and flash cards to the pupils residing in Sitio Callejon, Libjo, Batangas City which will be of great help in their Alternative Learning System.
Jail Officer 1 trainees prepared a dance number and conducted a read-a-book activity to instill in their minds lessons of the story "Cain and Abel".
This activity is in line with the Tulong sa Komunidad, Bayang Maunlad Program of BJMP which is one of the ways MIMAROPA to reach out with the community and to fulfill our social responsibility.
The said Badjao Community is an adopted community of BJMP MIMAROPA.
